I don't actually think men on average actually are more rational, logical, fact-based, "able to put aside their emotions", etc. than women, like they always tell themselves they are probably best real life example of this when guys (assholes) say awful nasty derogatory stuff, and then they justify it with "hey I'm just being honest/factual etc." except 99% of the "honest/factual" stuff they say is stuff that's negative to others and/or positive to themselves (e.g. calling someone else ugly, calling themselves good-looking) and 99% of the time those guys who do that whole "hey i'm just being honest/factual/etc." schtick is because they have some kind of emotional motivation behind it too it's just that their emotional motivation is typically ego, anger, and dark triad personality traits
