Greta And Friends Greenlit To Sue Sweden For Climate Inactivism A Swedish court has given Greta Thunberg legal permission to continue with a class action lawsuit against the Swedish state for “insufficient climate policy.” Thunberg and 600 other activists claim Stockholm has not done enough to help limit global warming to 1.5 degrees as per the 2016 Paris Agreement and demand it commits to slashing CO2 emissions by up to 9.4 million tons per year. The Swedish state now has three months to respond to the lawsuit, but the court didn’t reveal when the case might be eventually settled.
