Please click to add your name - We the undersigned, declare our vehement protest against the malicious persecution of Rabbi Michoel and Rebbetzin Devora Green by the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families (DCF) and threats to remove their children from their care. The Greens have an open home and all the thousands who have passed through it can testify that there is no basis for the accusations against them of neglect of their children. Therefore, this harassment can only be a form of retaliation against Rabbi Green for his well-known public stand for religious and medical freedom. Regardless of one’s opinion on these matters, the cynical use of social services to harass someone for their stance on any political issue sets a dangerous precedent and is a grave injustice that we thoroughly condemn. This is especially the case when speaking of a religious leader, who should be free to express his opinion on matters of ethics, morality, and conscience as he sees fit according to his religious training.
