❄️🥚Frozen eggs for breakfast and hard lessons on the trail… We crawled out of the tent into mountain cold so deep our teeth were chattering. Grits, frozen bacon, and eggs that cracked open as solid ice cubes. Just another morning with the Boy Scouts. Those camping trips taught more than how to survive the cold. They taught survival skills, patience, and—when bullying pushed too far—how to stand up and how to handle the anger that comes with it. My late father was one of the leaders who poured his best into us. Looking back, the frozen mornings, the steep climbs, and even the painful moments all carried the same message: when life hands you a hard lesson, grab it and grow.
