@SafeSpaceSucubus responding here because someone involved in the original conversation has blocked me— A sixteen year old boy engaging in sexual activity with an adult is being raped. No quotations marks. Full stop. He is a child who is still discovering his sexuality. He’s not “hot for teacher,” he’s being manipulated by them. My friend (second generation Irish-American,) has an Irish mother, was raised with the culture, can trace her lineage through a specific Irish clan, loves Irish tea and candy, knows the cultural in-jokes, goes to Ireland many a summer, uses Irish slang and phrases, and is proud of her heritage. She’s more Irish than a lot of fully white Irish-Americans, whose connection to their heritage is little more than a DNA test result. Are you Irish?
