Having been restricted for the third time in two weeks (this tine for a month) on Telegram because "some users found your comments annoying" while they allow floods of spam, scammers, pornography, threats of violence and death, and stolen credit card info, I started looking for a new social media app. I went through lots of them including the highest rated ones and they were all garbage. If not technical issues they were difficult to use. You couldn't search for groups or they wanted a bunch of personal info. I heard of Gettr years ago but never looked into it and it was never mentioned when I searched for best social media apps and didn't come up in the Googlevapp store until I searched for it. I have to tell you it is one of the best social media apps I have used. You get instant access without having to give out your email or phone number. That in itself impressed me. It is almost identical to Gab but without the annoying and repetitive giant ads. Give it a try. I'm the same user name there as here except with spaces between the words if my name.
