U.S. Marines from the 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, and Philippine Marines from the 4th Marine Brigade conducted littoral reconnaissance using the U.S. Marine Corps Stalker VXE30 unmanned aircraft system during the Cobra Littoral Reconnaissance exercise—part of the Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum (ACDC)—at Camillo Osias Naval Base, Philippines, from May 20–23, 2024. Cobra Littoral Reconnaissance is a bilateral command post exercise involving U.S. Marines from the 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment and Philippine Marines from the Coastal Defense Regiment and 4th Marine Brigade; it aims to enhance interoperability, refine tactics, techniques, and procedures, and support joint and combined maritime domain awareness.
