The idea of a mid-term political "convention" just might catch on. The GOP showcased various House, Senate, and gubernatorial candidates who need a boost along with an almost 2-hour speech delivered by President Trump. It was vintage Trump at his best. He mocked, name-called (Talafreako was my favorite), and generally needled every Dem, especially the Socialist/Commie bunch, running. He frequently went off script, which is normal for him, and the crowd loved it. Now, let's see if Republicans in Texas, Michigan, North Carolina, and all over will get off their duffs and vote come November.
