Are tattoos now the status quo everywhere? I live in the Greater Portland, Oregon Metro Area and I see tattoos on nearly everyone. I don't care for tattoos. It seems like such a trendy thing to do and I prefer people who can resist getting them. I don't think that tattoos symbolize individuality because I think individuality is an inside job and tattoos are external expressions of a need to get attention.
