An EO is a good start and a law banning de-banking would be even better. However, I think we need a Constitutional amendment banning de-banking. These days, financial institutions control almost all means of a person’s ability to utilize his or her freedom of speech in meaningful ways. We need to make sure that banks cannot hamstring people by refusing to do business based upon how those people choose to utilize their 1st Amendment rights.
