Missouri senate Bill 727 Redefines Homeschool, Catch Clause Added “If you homeschool your children under this catch clause and you have a firearm in the vicinity, it adds an automatic felony” they’re doing it very sneakily. It’s not specifically mentioned in the bill but by redefining what a home school is, it would put everyone in violation: “The bill moves the definition of "home school" as a "school" to apply to all statutes, which technically makes it illegal to possess a firearm in a home school based on existing laws that prohibit firearms in schools.”
