Leaking injector seal in the sprinter replaced today. Common failure point in the mercedes diesel engines especially around 200K Mi. One puny hold down bolt threads into the aluminum heads. 🤪 Took a crows foot 1/2" wrench and put it on a T handle to wiggle it out while maintaining pressure. Getting the engine good and hot is essential when doing this as oil and fuel vapor leaks out it turns into to asphalt like tar and they are nearly impossible to get out without breaking something. I caught this one before it became the dreaded "black death" and it was front right side so very easy to get to. -Torque wrench -Knipex Cobra pliers -Ratchet T30 torx bit. -Cobbled-up crows foot wrench thing. -A rod and .30 cal brush from a gun cleaning kit to get the old washer out.
