A couple of days ago, something occurred that I indeed expected to happen in the current days, and it did come to my mind to ask a sheikh about the consequences of what would happen to them - and this incident might be shocking to many people, but firstly I'd like to clarify the vision before posting what happened: - Many Egyptian guys traveled to Russia a while ago to study medicine, others traveled to marry Russian women, and others traveled to find a better job. In a little more than a year, they were all shocked when they found themselves stuck with a lot of expenses. • So how to solve this dilemma? They should have packed their bags and returned to Egypt immediately, least they should be humiliated in a non-Muslim foreign country in order to gain a penny. But they were like "Noooooo". They kept asking about additional sources of income, until some goodfellas directed them to some army-owned firms, that offered them the following: They would join the war as mercenaries on the Russian army against the Ukrainian army for only one year in exchange for receiving cash (about 7 thousand dollars), Russian citizenship, and a monthly salary after they complete this enlistment period. Many of them have already accepted this offer as mercenaries for the Russian army. They signed that contract thinking that it was a merely offer from the government and a routine thing for foreigners in exchange for money they needed. • What actually happened? Two days ago, a young Egyptian man from Upper Egypt, a prisoner of war, appeared with a Ukrainian influencer in interview as follows in brief: he was studying medicine in a college in Russia and the expenses grew too much for him. When he heard about the "offer" I mentioned earlier, he voluntarily applied to join the Russian army in exchange for money and citizenship. However, unfortunately, he was held captive on the front and taken by the Ukrainians as a prisoner of war, his end is to be either prison or execution. Unfortunately, he will not be able to come to Egypt in any kinds of deals concerning prisoner exchange because the brave Egyptian guys gave up their Egyptian citizenship during signing that contract for the Russian army. • Honestly: I don't have even the slightest bit of sympathy for such people. Lemme tell you why: He - of his own free will - agreed to join the Russian army as a mercenary knowing that there is a high probability that he will die or be captured while fighting in a foreign army, and in exchange for what? Money, a citizenship of a very good country, and a monthly salary after the end of his military service. My point is that if luck had been on his side and he hadn't died or been captured, we wouldn't have heard him cry or ween: "Help me!" and so on. On the contrary, you would have been surprised of his photos posted on Instagram bragging about a strong passport, money, chicks and whatever. • In short: I am not defending the Russian government or army because I'm well-ware of what they have done in Syria and other Muslim countries before. I'm just stating the fact that: this is not a "Russian Trap" or whatever sh!t mentioned by the retard Egyptian press as being spread in papers and online. What the hell is a trap about people offered you something in exchange for something and you agreed voluntarily?! The only situation where I can stand for you is when the Russian government forced Egyptian students there to join the army because they are foreigners during the time of war or tricked them to sign a piece of paper unknowingly about that matter. As for this young man from Upper Egypt and others like him on the front lines, I would like to say: "May God grant you patience and endurance. But, listen up: you made your own goddamn decisions, fully sane, and no one forced you to enlist in the Russian army and enter a war in which you have no stake, so it is better for you to man up and stop whining.
