While the idea of AI "objective" teachers in a home schooling environment sounds appealing on several levels, doesn't morality underline the core principles that underline the importance of events and philosophies that the AI "objective" teachers would be teaching? If so, where does the morality come from in the course of the teaching day? If one parent is sitting with the children to go through the AI "objective" teacher lesson to make sure it is teaching appropriate and reasonable material, what happens when the parent doesn't agree with the lesson but can't articulate the reason as to why? What happens if this is a constant struggle that causes the family to abandon the AI teacher project altogether? To provide a counter to this potential headache or concerning programming: teaching is an integral human-to-human interaction that cannot be supplanted without unintended consequences. Generations have always had difficulty communicating between them for various reasons as culture shifts, language shifts, technology shifts etc. What happens when AI would do most of the teaching to the inter-generational communication?
