Ok, I’m looking to my group experts for advice and recommendations for 2 different things. 1-I just picked my last bell peppers and pulled my plants, and I feel like they were just taking off! The plants were lush and green with many blossoms. I prefer red bell peppers, but it’s mid October and they never turned red! I planted them as plants in the Spring, but this has been a recurring problem for me. How do I get red bell peppers to turn red??? I live in SW Michigan. Zone 5 I think. 2-Looking for really good convenient compost bin for snowy cold weather. That will not fill too quickly because I seem to use a lot of fresh items and end up with a daily trip or two to my garden to toss it, until my husband can till it in before snow flies. This receptacle will not emptied until Spring, tilling time. I cannot keep it in my house or attached garage, will likely be near my sliding door for quick tosses into it. Just want some good recommendations from those of you who’ve been doing this longer. Thanks in advance!
