Dr Rudolf Steiner on X SpiritedIrish on X responded: "In the beginning God..." the living Word (John 1) created man and woman. He made them living, conscious, rational souls embedded within physical matter. And He cautioned them against trying to live off of only the bread (stones) of this world because living souls must also feed off of the spiritual manna that comes from above, meaning from Him. We are living in the aftermath of the death of Jesus Christ in the hearts of millions of Westerners and Americans. From the time His death was announced by men like Nietzsche and then much later by death of God theologians here in America, millions of living, rational souls have been trying to live without Jesus Christ but failing. Like a wave slowly recedes from the shore, slowly but surely the souls of unbelievers have been withering and hardening. But now, in the age of Gen Z, there is a sense of hollowness, an emptiness and meaninglessness that leads to violence, addiction, and suicide. Jesus Christ is the only Physician of our souls. He created us and only He can heal and restore hardened souls, but only if hollowed out humans turn back to Him.
