There is some astonishing data in here, courtesy of Pew Research: -Just 3% of the U.S. population is responsible for 90% of the tweets you see. -Only 8% of the U.S. population is "active" on Twitter. -If overall U.S. Twitter users were their own state it would be +15 Democrat, which would tie Hawaii and Vermont as the second-most pro-Democrat states. -If overall U.S. Twitter posters were a state they'd be +43 Democrat, which is almost three times higher than infamous California.
