"Diversity is our strength" If one pays attention during the recollection of the Exile from Israel, you will notice Bablyon brought in people from various disparate nations to receive the land. You might wonder why that is. Then when Judah is allowed to return and rebuild, we see why that is; The locals cannot agree but on oppressing the returning Jews. A divided people are easier to control. Even if they do begin to unite, just drop in another people and again they will struggle against one another, turning to the authority for help rather than uniting. Even then, to unite against the authority would be ungodly rebellion, rightfully punished. But only in the Lord's congregation do we see His family transcends all things of man and the people can unite in peace. But only if we are of one mind; to follow Christ. How can two walk together, unless they are in agreement?
