The authors argued that human respiration’s contribution to climate change has been underestimated and merits further study. _ I remember joking on Twitter, many years ago when I was on it, that they would one day claim your breathing is a cause of global warming (along with the million other causes). But now, they're really doing it. They obviously anticipate a backlash. Hence they conclude for now that it "merits further study" to placate any public reaction. But this sick idea will arise again once the Deep Staters assess the public have become used to it.
