How is Presidential Immunity a win for humanity? No matter who is in focus, we need more accountability for ALL politicians, not less. Immunity gives any future president total and absolute power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. If all Presidents have immunity, that means Biden can do whatever he wants without any regard for anything whatsoever from now until January, 2025. What is he going to do? If all presidents gets carte blanche, doesn't it mean society is always at the risk of a brutal dictator that can not be stopped as they can continuously do illegal things to get out of any accountability? And what about all those handlers of a president that get to push him around to do whatever they want him to do? And since all is done in the name of the president as making the final decision to go ahead with whatever, the handlers push, they get what they want and all responsibility placed on the president's shoulders then automatically waived. Presidential Immunity means the power of blackmail over a president has great potential to lead to the worst possible outcomes.
