A #Mom's touch... ... all these decades later. I dont know how many preserves and syrups and jarred things male parent has already thrown out since Mom died, but he had had enough with 'them taking up space' and wanted to rid them ... So I took them off his hands. I cant believe it was made 45 years ago, and tasting it, its just heavenly. Today's first opening... She took care to make things and do things right, if you screw up on some things you can make botulism or other accidental outcomes that are horrific. Looking at this now, Im starting to recall pots of boiling water and jars all over... must have been the sterilizing process in action... Wish I had expressed appreciation more and sooner. Moms like mine, never get enough love and respect. Im glad mine was how she was, as the net shows there are many who arent so loving and caring for their own kids.
