I don’t see why normal gab users and Wignat Nazis can’t both be happy if a new option was added to the settings that would filter the more intensely racist or anti Semitic posts that wignats make. It wouldn’t have to hide their name or profile picture, it would just put a protected label over their post and an option to view it. The user could easily change their settings back. Many more people would join gab if they had that choice. No one gets banned and no one gets censored. Just the simple choice to not have to see filth and to have a better experience on gab. I don’t see why the wignats would have a problem with that…. Unless they’re lying about just wanting to have a platform that they can speak freely on and actually want to force their nazism and extremism down everyone’s throat. The block and mute button works for individual cases but it doesn’t fix the problem on a platform like gab.
