There's always a Plan B when a monarch dies in Scotland - it's called Operation Unicorn. Most people are aware of Operation London Bridge (when the sitting royal is in a London residence) but right now the Queen is up north at Balmoral Castle. What happens? Operation Unicorn will involve the immediate suspension of Scottish Parliament while authorities prepare for a state funeral.
