My kids pointed out this funky mushroom this morning - had to get some pictures with the morning light! This is a parasitic mold, commonly called the "troll-hair mold", that grows on mushrooms when it's very humid. We also observed it attracting and trapping fruit flies in its hair, which you can see if you zoom in.
