And since we're on the subject of parasitic things (refer to previous post), here's a beautiful sight in the garden. No, not the horn worm itself - those jerks have been decimating our tomato plants 🤬 - but a horn worm with the cocoons of parasitic wasps on its back. This worm is near death. The wasp lays eggs inside the worm, and as they hatch they build cocoons and then emerge. Throughout this process, they are slowly killing the horn worm. The wasps are a bit behind schedule to save many of our plants, but we'll take all the help we can get!
