He isn't technically wrong, but I do also point to the goat herders of Afghanistan, who, after 20 years, managed to drive US forces out, although it came at a very high cost. Americans could do the same, but if they intend lower casualties they'd need more sophisticated equipment. The crucial aspect here, is Americans *need bravery*.
