Gabbers have many reasons for wanting to be private that have nothing to do with cowardice nor impotence, they simply wish to be left alone, or perhaps fear for their safety if the wrong people see what they post. I, for instance, remain private simply for the fact I desire to vet any and all members that wish to follow me. At one time, I had thousands of followers until I started going through them and realized how many were pornbots, spammers, scammers, trolls and just plain bad apples. I removed them all and went private. If you want to block me, feel free, but it comes with consequences, such as your removal from any of my many family friendly fun groups. Plus, you'll miss out on the daily fun posts I make. IF Gab staff ever gives us the ability to be public AND vet any incoming followers, I'd be happy to go public.
