Building trust with your dog is not something that can be forced, it has to be earned. Earning trust takes patience, dedication, forgiveness and most importantly, offering trust first. This is difficult because our brains are constantly trying to predict the future based on previous events. That's why fixing reactivity and aggression problems always have to begin with fixing the human first before the dog.
