Oven Beef Stew - this was pretty good. Hubby loved it. I used canned potatoes and onions so this came together easily. No chopping or peeling - now that was nice! The recipe also calls for carrots, but we didn't have any so I just left them out. I also left out the last half-cup of water/wine because we like our stews nice and thick. The recipe came from a 1973 Crisco booklet called "Favorite Family Foods".
