So...I'm in Walmart. Waiting in line at the customer service desk. Asian man taking FOREVER sending money to heaven only knows. Has little guy with him, no more than 2 years old. Little guy is running around, getting into stuff as little guys do. Nothing unusual there. But dad isn't paying one bit of attention. Three of us middle-aged, white "old" ladies are watching him. Middle-aged, white "old" lady #1 gets her turn at the service desk. Remaining 2 of us are watching little guy. Dad STILL not paying a lick of attention. Suddenly, little guy scampers off around the corner and runs right toward the exit doors. Dad still not paying attention. Three of us white, middle-aged "old" gals are trying to tell the dad his child ran off. HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD OF ENGLISH!!! Middle-aged white gal #1 leaves her place at the service desk and runs to get little guy and bring him back to his dad. God bless her! "Dad", still oblivious, has no clue we were calling out to him to get his child because he doesn't understand English. Finally, gal #1 picks up little guy, taps on Asian, non-English speaking dad's shoulder to get his attention and hands him the little guy. The dad looks dumb-founded, has no clue he just about lost his son and laughs, takes the little guy and puts him right back down. Moral of the story? SPEAK ENGLISH!!! PRAISE MIDDLE-AGED "OLD" WHITE GAL!! DO IT FOR "THE CHILDREN"!!!
