Changing your battery in a newer car (2015+). Just an FYI - Before you disconnect your battery from the car, connect one of those boosters or 12v power bank to the cars' battery terminals first. This will keep the cars canbus powered so you won't have to reset-reprogram the cars BCM or ECM at the dealership after a battery change. I just changed the battery on my 2016 Jeep. No bigger, I've changed batteries in every car I've ever owned. Well, after changing the battery the dash lit up like a Christmas tree ?!?!? Turns out loosing power to the central computers on newer cars can mess the whole system, sometimes completely bricking your car and often requiring *dealer only* resets (Another money path for the dealerships). After the dash lit up I cycled the car on-off-on-off-.... several times and the dash cleared. I got lucky.
