After 5 weeks and four levels of polish(2 weeks w/ final polish) the rocks are done! This was our 1st ever try. Most came out great! Taught our kids some patience, too! They were excited this evening to rinse the containers out and get that first glimpse of how they looked. And the petrified wood survived, but did not take quite the polish I was hoping for.
