However, this weapon and this Lance were not made of visible metals and ore, because the weapon had the number one and the Lance the number four. So as a sign that he had lost his weapon and Lance, all metals were taken from him. b) They were taken from him because the basic cause of things is not specifically metallic, and that Gift was a metal that does not grow where metals grow. c) And it was finally taken from him to teach him that there is One thing in nature which is male and female, and always bringeth forth the Same, but which is the Mother of all righteous beings, regardless of their species. _________ 4.
