I own an off grid home with solar. Recently I had a panel replaced that wasn't working. The gentleman who replaced it left the old panel for me to dispose of. Today I went to the local recycling facility and they wouldn't take it. My question for Maine residents is, WTF is Maine going to do with all the spent panels from these "solar farms" they're installing all over the state? You're lucky if the panels of today last maybe 15 years. These solar farms are huge. They wouldn't take a single panel from me. WTF are these farms going to do with thousands of them that are considered "hazardous waste"? These climate alarmists are going to royally fuck us in the near future while they claim to be trying to save the planet.
