My oldest son & his wife celebrated 6 years yesterday…& my parents hit 61 years last month! Dad has always gotten enough roses for each year on their anniversary, but lately has found it more economical to buy in bulk, it was 100 roses this year. So they stopped by dropping half their extra roses with me after leaving half w/ my brother’s wife earlier. While they were at my home with these flowers they also got to see our then massively pregnant daughter Clarissa who’d happened to stop by too. Turns out that was the day before my second granddaughter was born…& the flowers are Still looking lovely, amazingly. Thanks for the reminder of the beauty of Life AND Love! Shortly after their 60th my brother Curt's grandson Easton was born in OK & my first granddaughter, Lilah, was born in Michigan. Clarissa had Lillian the day after Mom & Dad's 61st anniversary & Charlotte's younger sibling is currently "baking" in the oven! My parents are blessed to see another generation coming on the scene, all of them being raised by godly Christian parents, most of whom plan to homeschool! God is so good to give us such beauty for ashes. He will Never leave nor forsake us!
