The #WorldsWorstFuturist predicts: Modern voting is mostly quality control for corruption. Votes are, basically, just a poll of the victims, in order to determine how well the scam is working, and in what areas it may be 'improved'. This 'consumer satisfaction survey' doesn't work, though, if too many people lose hope, and stop casting ballots. Expect, then, a flurry of programs, resolutions, and laws, all as part of a carefully-orchestrated dog-and-pony show intended to restore voter confidence, and get us back to the ballot box.
