The #WorldsWorstFuturist predicts: Somewhere, soon, probably as part of an experiment, a district of teachers will be given the right -- nay, the duty -- to fail students who are not doing well. The blame for the student's failure will not fall on the teacher, provided everything is well documented, but onto the student. Swim or sink. But the fun part of what I see is that this particular district will start to produce more excellent student achievers than any other. Naysayers will game the statistics, trying to discredit the system, there will be cries of racism, sad stories of struggling parents, and accusations regarding the treatment of special needs students, but in the end...
