Following is a detailed response from a Facebook friend in response to my post 'CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS OR GOOD CANADIANS' James Millsap: Perhaps reading the definition would help readers. Muslim means one who surrenders to God. It is also a noun, a follower of Islam. Can they be good? Sure they can. They can do acts of kindness. If you are follower of Jesus (not a religion), we are taught to love them. We do not celebrate sin. We are not to be judgmental, except when it is righteous pointing out evil. Some believe Islam is based on a false religion. If you read the testimony from Jesus' disciples, Galatians 1:8-9 talks about false gospels even if an angel shows up and speaks contrary to Jesus' gospel. That's how Islam started with Mohammad in a cave and an angel appeared to him. Apparently thrusting him into the dirt to make him obey when he refused. His wife is the one who claimed him a prophet. Satan is the great deceiver. For me, I follow Jesus' Gospel as my anchor to my faith. I believe Islam is not compatible with our Constitutional law, nor any other religion. Both legally, and spiritually. Remember Islam was born from the lineage of Abraham, but it was Isaac God blessed. His brother, Ishmael was born out of wedlock. Ishmael was allowed to be a king of provinces because God so loved Abraham. Abraham asked God to allow him to live under a special blessing. Jesus came from Isaac's lineage fulfilling the Old Testament prophesy of The Messiah. Also Islam doesn't believe Jesus is The Messiah, The Son of God. Islam is the only religion where their "Quran" writes about deceiving, and killing nonbelievers (read as someone who doesn't fall in line with Islam). Sharia law is not compatible with our Constitution nor our Declaration of Independence. We are warned to protect our Nation, or risk losing it to invaders. Being a good steward is being a good Sheppard, to protect the flock (citizens). Remember, a phobia is an "irrational" fear. When you make rational decisions, it is not a phobia. Satan uses words (spin), to make bad things sound good. Or to find ways to weaken your resolve, protecting righteous indignation.
