It's well known that the NDAA is often used to slip authoritarian (and frankly Orwellian) laws into being that would normally never survive public scrutiny owing to the 'must-pass' nature of the bill. Section 219 (House of Representatives, formerly Section 224) and Section 1217 (Senate) introduce a major risk to national sovereingty. By fast-tracking the integration of foreign and properitary tech into core Pentagon A.I., cyber-security, and drone-programs, we are creating a supply-chain that is extremely difficult to vet and audit for safety (something I believe to be intentional) The text creates an "Executive Agent" with sweeping authority to bypass traditional DOD tech reviews. This isn't just a national security risk: It's an institutional overreach that quietly cuts Congress out of the loop on bilateral tech co-operation, and would allow foreign black-box software deep into our defense architecture, and we would risk surrendering ultimate control over our own military and intel systems. I could imagine this technology could also be used for Israeli technology to be used to both censor as well, as potentially do to us what has been done to Gaza. We know Trump's owned by the Rothschilds. We need to contact your Congressmen and Senators everyday (crazy as it sounds, this has shown to have a prospect of success) demanding they use striking amendments to remove Section 219 (House) and 1217 (Senate) from the NDAA. Senate https://www.senate.gov/general/resources/pdf/senators_phone_list.pdf House of Representatives https://www.house.gov/representatives Since the House generally has these striking amendments go through the Rules committee, it's imperative to call them as well in order to apply pressure along the full length of the system. Rules Commitee https://rules.house.gov/ Chairman: Rep. Virginia Fox Phone: (202) 225-2071 Fax: (202) 225-2995 Ranking Member: Rep. Jim McGovern Phone: 202-225-6101 Fax: 202-225-5759 In the event that it's the weekend: Leave a message and, hell, send off a daily fax if you still have a fax-machine (why not, right?) As usual: Feel free to share/repost (No restrictions). Note: In the event that it does pass: A bicameral conference committee will be created in which leaders from both the House and Senate to hash out the differences (effectively filling the reconciliation function), and we should definitely apply pressure using this mechanism if it fails to be removed from the House & Senate versions. The key is to apply pressure along the full length of the system. ADDENDUM (6/20): During the second Trump administration, there has been an inordinate degree of spying against the United States by Israel. The idea of integrating military and surveillance technology into our defense systems would be absolute insanity. Video Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZIuUQ3eZg8
