I had a chat with our moderation team today and there has recently been an uptick in accounts fedposting and promoting violence. Some of these accounts are brand new and likely infiltrators. Others are longstanding accounts. I understand that with everything going on in the world right now that people want to let off some steam and can have bad days posting very foolish things, but we have a zero tolerance policy for this stuff for a very good reason. Do not advocate for violence. Do not fedpost. Period. We don't allow fedposting or the promotion/advocation of violence for two reasons: first, it's against US law and therefore our terms of service. Second, we do it to protect our users from having actual feds show up at their house because they were being a moron and posting threats or promoting violence on the internet. Wise up and cut the crap, for your own sake and for Gab's as a whole. If you see someone promoting or advocating for violence please use our reporting tool to let our moderation team know.
