I had to challenging problems moving away from #Mozilla entirely. I had used Mozilla #Firefox for a very long time. Since it's beta days! I had built up a substantial amount of data on my user account. I had used Mozilla’s #Pocket (getpocketapp) for at least a solid 5 years now, and Mozilla #Lockwise to store all my passwords. I had a lot of loyalty toward Mozilla and Firefox in general. I sincerely was not wild about #Chrome and even #Blink being the only rendering options on the web, and deeply desired to diminish the control #Google had In order to get rid of Pocket I had to move to #Raindrop The whole process of moving there was surprisingly simple thank god. The service is maintained by an indie developer, and they were able to port over my substantial library of bookmarks and tags. I have thousands of pages bookmarked and tagged up for later reading. In order to get rid of Lockwise I moved to #KeePassXC I had always desired to store my passwords and seurity measures locally rather than online. This was actually a simple choice for me to make as I was planning on doing it anyway. Now I have the wonderful challenge of going through all these websites I re-keying each one! Luckily KeePass is simple to use, and is an easy visual desktop client to deal with. I wont ever store my passwords on anything else now. I’m pretty committed to this! Anotther awesome thing about KeePassXC is it has TOTP options. I may just rid myself of #Google Authenticator in favor of this!
