Best explanations I've seen in the replies to this thread: - No one really likes Joe Biden, and they have buyers remorse now that they have him. - Without someone to hate, a lot of energy has no where to go, creating depression. - They see evidence of voter fraud, and are starting to worry about what that means. - They know Biden and the left will have trouble governing, due to a weak position and conservative resistance. - They are just moving on with life, and not as worried about politics now that the election is over. - They know they haven't won yet, and are holding their breath till Biden actually takes office. To me it seems like post-partum depression. When you finish a big project, you often feel "down" even if it was successful, because you have nothing to work on anymore. There is a void. In this case, stopping Trump was the left's big project for four years. Now, it's over, but it didn't quite pay off the way they hoped. Plus, there are a lot of cracks in the victory. It does not look the way they envisioned it. Hence, depression.
