About a year ago he said he would give everyone a $2,000 dividend. That never happened. Instead he gave tax breaks to the working class and $1,000 gifts to the newborns. The elderly seniors who have so little income that they don't even have to file tax returns received absolutely NOTHING. $2,000 would have meant the world to them. About 40% of retired Americans are trying to exist on income that's below the poverty level. Again, let's hope he means it this time.
