MJTRUTH It’s time to lock in. I don’t care which splinter, faction, or argument you landed on since Trump took office. Those differences now have to be set aside. In this country, there are two parties that actually hold power: Republicans and Democrats. There is no third option that can govern. If you sit this out, you are choosing not to have a say in what happens next. President Trump is the leader of the Republican Party. What he has already done will echo for decades — not because everything is perfect, but because the direction of the country has been changed in ways that matter. Anyone living in reality can see that he is being fought at every turn. That opposition is not mild. It is determined, organized, and personal. We should have understood the moment he won again that this would not be an easy battle. That is why the House and Senate matter so much. Every election is a chance to replace people who have grown comfortable in the system and to bring in people who will actually fight for the country instead of the machinery. It is slow, imperfect work. It is also necessary. God put us in an extraordinary position. We have another chance. Don’t waste it by turning on each other, or wasting your breath with anyone who focuses on fear.
