I'm reading a book 'The History of Dahomy' as preparation for writing about the British involvement in the slave trade, and our evolution into the nation that stopped slavery through force applied to, or through treaties made with, all other nations. The imposing British values through the power of the Empire onto the world. Now everyone has an expectation of freedom - you're welcome. It seems not many people realise that our Africans partners were all for slavery. The speech by Aabhaoozou lays out the African pro-slavery argument and it is full of harsh reality. I was wondering how many on gab were aware of this speech, or have ever heard any of the pro-slavery arguments from our African partners during the slave trade. Have you read this speech before?
