-- Welcome to 1836 Books & Tax. -- Family Tradition: In the 1950’s my grandfather, a first-generation American and World War II veteran, opened a neighborhood income tax & bookkeeping business out of his home in Rochester, NY. His clients were local businesses and individuals. Eventually his children would all work for him as young adults, honing their skills as apiring accountants before going on to careers of their own. Now I am proud to continue that family tradition here in Cypress, Texas. Current Mission: At 1836 Books & Tax, our mission is to provide detail-oriented bookkeeping & tax services to small businesses and individuals, both local and remote. In addition to these core services, we can assist with budgeting, organizing records, processing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, analyzing accounting issues, and preparing financial statements for internal use.
