This is happening right now as we speak. Somewhere out there a great idea, full of potential is disappearing into oblivion. And like it, many more have gone unheard in companies around the world for decades now. I won’t even go as far as a corporation. I bet that you have had brilliant shower thoughts that never saw the light of the LED screen, and you even remember them with an expression of shame in your face when you think of what could’ve been. I know because I’ve done so myself. This happens to companies because they lack a complete business strategy that includes adapting and foresight. Now, before you light up your torches and sharpen those pitchforks and rant about how great YOU are and how this doesn’t apply to YOU, let me explain briefly what I mean. Around 50% of businesses kick the bucket early on and don’t even see past year five of operations. This is because you may have done the planning and research necessary to begin, but after you gain momentum you lack the clarity, resources, and skills to continue your quest. You have no system. Not a proprietary one at least. A system would be able to analyze ideas that can be implemented every so often. And I don’t mean ridiculous ideas; I mean ideas that are oriented to the company goals. Why haven’t you foreseen this and created your own system? Because you are too close to the action to see ahead. Your people are too close to the action to see ahead. Your allies don’t really care that you see ahead as long as you don’t go under. It can all be resolved. It’s a shame most companies just keep focusing on complicating their process to look busy. And while you read this, another great idea vanished into the dark. #business #strategy #ideas
