Avoiding #traffic_law is popular nowadays, with people covering up many #signs in their towns with #stickers of various sorts. This is leading to many #skipping_out on potentional #parking_fines and #ignoring_tickets given to them. It is very rare now for anyone to pay tickets for #illegal_parking. This is in addition to the already common practice of #divers who keep a toolchest in their car for removing signs of all kinds, including #bus_stop or #no_parking signs. Many #bilinguals go into court #pretending not to speak #English in front of judges. As a result of all the creative ways to successfully #beat_out tickets, #judges have taken their #frustration and #aggression by simply letting people go along with anyone who gets #arrested for more serious #crimes. As time goes on, such #judges have been compelled to fulfill themselves in #disputing higher authority, even as far as the US president. This is where all this resistance against #ICE comes into play. Many judges and other #government workers are running out of jobs of their own to do since they have lost sight on how to enforce the law in their own #jurisdictions.
