@kingofallnads "As for the nature of reailty, if reality were, hypothetically, created five minutes ago, wouldn't we have no memories of anything except what happened in the last five minutes?" Reality was created with retconned memories intact, like the androids in Blade Runner. In philosophy I believe this is referred to as "The Belly Button Rule" as in Adam was created with a belly button even though he was never gestated. The theory is non-falsifiable. Reality could have been created 5 billion years ago, or 5 seconds ago.
