ONE MORE TIME! The word "decimate" from the Latin word "deci," meaning "one-tenth," (decimated) is incorrect when trying to describe complete destruction or removal. "Obliterated" or "eliminated" are useful when indicating complete destruction or removal. Does everyone have it straight now? I sincerely hope so.
